Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
  • Experience working in an educational setting, particularly with high school students, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to meet all health and legal requirements, including a negative tuberculosis test and background checks.


Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position aligned with the regular school calendar.
  • Requires mobility within the classroom and school building.
  • May involve occasional lifting or assisting students with mobility needs.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering instructional materials, including vocational training.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students in academic and technical subjects.
  • Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education staff.
  • Facilitate the integration and use of technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
  • Help maintain a positive, organized classroom environment, including behavior management.
  • Ensure student safety during instructional time, field trips, and other school activities.
  • Participate in professional development to improve skills related to paraprofessional duties.
  • Promote a school culture that values diversity and inclusivity.
