The STNA Instructor / Clinical Nursing Instructor is responsible for providing comprehensive education and training to both adult and high school students at our career technical school. In this role, you will teach adult students aspiring to become State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) and work as a Clinical Instructor guiding high school nursing students in clinical settings. Responsibilities include equipping students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the healthcare industry, ensuring the alignment of practical application with theoretical knowledge, planning and evaluating clinical laboratory experiences, and maintaining effective communication with students and staff while upholding the standards of the nursing program.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree (ADN) or Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate licensure from Ohio State Board of Education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing theory, procedures, and standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning styles.
  • Proficient in instructional technology and multimedia tools.
  • Organizational skills for lesson planning and record-keeping.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
  • Meets all health and legal requirements, including background checks.
